“Everyday Magic” is a series of haiku inspired by seasonal moods and views, beautifully paired with colourful and captivating photographs. There are 4 books: Winter; Spring; Summer and Autumn. I provided all the photos and layout for this book.
“First Thoughts” contains a Haiku a day for just over a year, where Charley set a challenge to write a Haiku a day about the first thought that came that day. This is the second in the “In Three Lines” series. I provided the cover photo and design for the book.
“ReBalancing” is warm, wise, straightforward yet poetic, ReBalancing reminds us of our strengths and offers new perspectives on our challenges in daily nuggets of 17 syllables. This wonderfully original book is both intuitive and entertaining. Charley’s love of the natural world shines throughout. It is the first in the “In Three Lines” series. It contains 366 haikus and I provided the cover shot and design for the cover.
“Together We’ll See” is a delightfully eclectic collection of art and poetry for all ages. Featuring the art of John Pelham. The artist uses many different techniques and textures; the poet writes in a number of styles and voices. Each has interpreted the other’s work in intuitive, emotional and surprising ways. Each poem and painting is standalone in its own right. Their combination offers the reader a new dimension to explore.
“Making a Scene” contains a number of black and white shots taken on and near the forest. Along with poetry by Charley Elbow. I had helped Charley publish a book and when they found out I was taking photos on the forest they asked for some to write for and this book is the result.
“Small Feats and Tall Tales” is a selection of engaging, fun, inclusive, thoughtful stories for children, told through poetry and 12 word tales. Bursting with characters and adventures it offers suggestions for ways readers may begin to express their own ideas, feelings and creativity. A book to belong in.
